New tablet program released
Personal Engagement Tablet
It's Never 2 Late announced that more than 20 assisted living and long-term care communities have pre-ordered iN2L Focus, a new tablet device for seniors.
iN2L Focus said the tablet's feature allow seniors to have social connection, spur intellectual curiosity, provider spiritual and emotional support and encourage personal interests.
Content programming is selected based on resident's interests and needs from iN2L content. iN2L Focus also has video chat, photo sharing, text and email and other ways for residents to communicate.
“iN2L Focus promotes social connectedness, as well as cognitive activity, among all of our residents, enhancing the way we deliver meaningful care,” said Davis Park, director of the Front Porch Center for Innovation and Wellbeing, where residents have been using the system.
Focus officially launches in October. It will be demonstrated at AHCA | NCAL 68th Annual Convention & Expo, Oct. 15-19, in Las Vegas, and the LeadingAge Annual Meeting & Expo, Oct. 29-Nov. 1, in New Orleans. View a preview of Focus here.
