GF Health Products Inc. (“Graham-Field”) announced it would donate medical equipment to Mercy Ships, a volunteer-based charity delivery healthcare to medically underserved nations. The organization has performed more than 79,000 life-saving surgeries in 587 ports.

Mercy Ships docks in a city for 10 months and treats as many people as possible. The program also builds schools and clinics.

“We are proud to partner with Mercy Ships and its 1,400 volunteers in their mission to make healthcare accessible to developing nations. We are specifically supporting their ophthalmic surgery projects in impoverished communities with in-kind donations of our Hausted Stretchers,” said CEO Ken Spett of GF Health Products Inc.
