The St. Louis Zoo has renamed its elephant sanctuary the “Medline Elephant Oasis.” The habitat supports the zoo’s nine Asian elephants. Medline received the naming rights after making a $5.8 million donation. “We are excited to be part of the zoo’s expansion plans and are honored to support one of the best zoos in the country,” said Jim Abrams, the firm’s chief operating officer. Medline is the nation’s largest privately-held medical supply firm.
