MDI Achieve's Matrix reaches certification milestone

MDI Achieve announced its Matrix software has received meaningful use certification from the federal government. The designation officially deems the electronic health record software capable of enabling providers to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

“We believe this certification provides our clients and the market in general with assurances of data integrity across the full continuum of care,” said MDI Achieve President John Damgaard. The ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certification program tests and certifies that electronic health records meet all of the 2011/2012 criteria and that EHR modules meet at least one government-approved standard. Matrix Version 6.6 meets 16, according to the firm.
