Maryland-based Lorien Health Services has selected Aruba Mobile First network, the provider announced.

With Aruba’s infrastructure, Lorien has quadrupled its Wi-Fi speed, meeting the desires of residents, caregivers and guests, the company said. It also can connect electronic health records applications and use RefillRX for easy prescription fulfillment.

Caregivers can use Lorien’s CareTracker app to turn any iPad into a phone, allowing them to place calls between rooms, floors or even different Lorien facilities, the provider said. Lorien also expanded its technology plans to connect devices such as security cameras and thermostats to automated usage.
