The third largest long-term care pharmacy provider is expanding its reach in the Lone Star State.

Partners Pharmacy, based in Springfield, NJ, has announced that it's acquiring Presbyterian Village North, an onsite pharmacy in Dallas. The company dubs itself as No. 3 in the skilled nursing pharma space, with locations in 10 states. The PVN acquisition means Partners will add three pharmacy locations and another 6,000 residents to its customer base, in more than 50 communities across Texas.

"As the third-largest long-term care pharmacy in the United States, Partners Pharmacy is committed to providing the communities we serve with industry-leading customer service, accuracy, and efficiency," Jim Matthews, VP of operations with Partners Pharmacy, said in a statement.
