Carepoynt has launched a health-focused rewards program geared toward wellness.

The system allows users to earn rewards for healthy decisions and purchases. Carepoynt partners with health and wellness organizations such as Well Street Psychological Group, with rewards partners that include Amazon, Starbucks and Target. The company closed $1.5 million in first quarter funding.

Its cloud-based Rewardsware for Healthcare™ platform allows members to earn redeemable “poynts” by doing healthy activities, engaging in care plans or making health-related purchases. Providers can track patient compliance with care instructions, encourage patient interactions via a mobile app or use a Carepoynt Dashboard to look at specific areas and populations.
