UnityPoint Health-Cedar Rapids said this week it will build a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, according to local reports.

The $14.9 million facility will be called St. Luke's Center for Healthy Living and sit in the northeast part of the city. It is expected to provide 46 skilled nursing and rehab rooms in a  46,420-square-foot facility, the Gazette reported.

In addition to serving post-acute care patients, it will have an outpatient therapy gym.

The building is expected to open in spring 2019.
