Appalachian Christian Village, a CCRC in Tennessee, has partnered with Status Solutions to introduce Motion into Meaningful Information (MIMI) mobile health monitoring. The system is being used for the village’s Personal Care Plus program, which is for independent living residents.

The system provides resident health alerts to family members and community staff.

MIMI, which is powered by AFrame Digital, tracks vitals and daily activities through a a wristwatch device.

“By implementing Status Solutions’ MIMI platform, our staff now will have around-the-clock access to critical wellness information that will enhance our provision of quality care to residents by helping us identify emergent health conditions,” said Brenda McInturff, director of resident services for Appalachian Christian Village.

The CCRC has been using Status Solutions’ Situational Awareness and Response Assistant (SARA) to provide fall-detection alerts since January 2008.
