The Ambassador of Scarsdale, a new senior living facility in New York, opened its doors Thursday, celebrating with architecture firm Perkins Eastman.

The new 115-bed facility has 95 residences for assisted living and 20 for memory care. The Ambassador sits on seven acres near the Mamaroneck River in Westchester County, NY and is designed as a residential village.

Residents can enjoy a library, art studio, common room with a fireplace, a spa and salon and a movie theater. Medical services include a fitness center with personal trainers, visiting physicians, a registered dietitian and an on-site memory care program.

Perkins Eastman has worked The Ambassador since 2009.
