American HealthTech announced it bought Rycan, a provider of web-based revenue cycle management software based in Minnesota.

The company will integrate Rycan solutions into its product portfolio that now spans skilled nursing, hospitals and clinics.

“These critical tools and automated workflow will help accelerate reimbursement, reduce the number of denied claims, and drive operational efficiencies,” AHT President Teresa Chase and Healthland CEO Chris Bauleke said in a letter to customers. “This means you can now partner with American HealthTech to handle eligibility verification prior to admission on the front end to claims scrubbing and remittance management all the way to more robust contract management and denial/appeals management.”
