Relias has announced a strategic partnership with Aging with Dignity, a nonprofit organization focused on preserving the dignity of those with illness.

Healthcare professionals using the Relias Learning Management System will now have new content from Aging with Dignity's Five Wishes program, a popular advance care planning approach.

The joint modules are based on how people state their end-of-life care choices.

“As the leader in post-acute care learning, we constantly strive to partner with best-in-class solution providers to offer our clients resources that will result in better care,” explained Mark Belles, COO of Relias. “In addition to being a great resource, Five Wishes, and by extension, Aging with Dignity, align with the Relias mission, making this a truly complementary partnership.”

Aging with Dignity said it's important for healthcare providers to have advance care planning discussions.

“Understanding what is most important to people and how to honor their human dignity is the foundation of quality care,” said Paul Malley, president of Aging with Dignity. “We believe these training modules will benefit clinicians by helping them to provide the best possible care to each person.”
