Colors of Loss and Healing

A new adult coloring book titled “Colors of Loss & Healing” has been released.

Created by grief counselor Deborah Derman, Ph.D., the book is geared toward helping people health through coloring, as well as offering coping tips.

The publication was recently featured in a New York Times article. In it, Derman discusses how each illustration has a word, such as “determination” that can help people process thoughts.

While not specific to long-term care, the book is geared to help those not only grieving, but also possibly undergoing a loss such as illness or divorce.
