» CareTrust REIT Inc. acquired two Montana skilled nursing facilities in an off-market transaction, the company announced in early September. The SNFs have a combined 150 beds and are located in Helena and Clancy, MT.  The properties will be operated by Eduro Healthcare.

» Genesis HealthCare disclosed in early September that it was selling five of its Vermont nursing homes. The company did not identify the buyer. State documents indicated that the new buyer would take temporary management over the facilities on Oct. 1.  

» Monticello provided a $2 million working capital loan for a skilled nursing portfolio in Wisconsin, the lender announced in August. The porfolio has three skilled nursing and assisted living facilities with a total of 305 beds/units. The sponsor of the transaction has a portfolio of 4,969 licensed beds/units. 

» Heavenrick & Co. negotiated the sale of a 120-bed skilled nursing facility in northwest Texas, the company said in early September. The deal is worth $5.3 million. It was arranged between national owner and operator StoneGate Senior Living and an unnamed publicly traded real estate investment trust.
