»Private equity investment firm Tryko Partners has acquired two nursing homes about 30 minutes from each other in the Philadelphia area. One is a 240-bed facility with post-hospital care, short-term rehab and long-term residential care. The other is a 201-bed skilled nursing and 63-unit assisted living campus. 

» Monticello provided $66.6 million in first lien debt financing for the acquisition of three skilled nursing properties in Maryland. The properties have a total of 460 beds. The transaction was sponsored by an owner and operator with a current portfolio of 2,459 licensed beds.

» Sabra Health Care REIT sold two skilled nursing facilities in Montana for $14.4 million, including assumed mortgage debt, in April. The facilities are leased to Genesis Healthcare. The sale will result in a roughly $1.1 million decrease in annual rent obligation from Genesis.

» The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, a New York-based skilled nursing facility, implemented a Family Call Center Call-Line Service to help family members connect with residents during the pandemic.
