» Senior Living Investment Brokerage coordinated the sale of two Tennessee skilled nursing communities in December. The communities have a total of 176 beds and are located in Mount Pleasant and Lenoir City, TN. The seller was identified only as a regional real estate owner concentrating its efforts in continuing care retirement communities. The buyer is a regional owner/operator with other existing communities in Tennessee.
» Genesis Healthcare’s LTC ACO welcomed nearly 200 new unaffiliated long-term care facilities to its accountable care organization, the company announced in mid-December. LTC ACO also was in the process of contracting with about 200 physicians who provide services to residents in those facilities. The organization hopes the move will help 3,000 additional residents by the end of 2020.
» Helios Healthcare Advisors facilitated the sale of an 87-bed skilled nursing facility in West Salem, WI, in December. The facility, which was previously owned by a New Jersey-based investor, was sold to a Midwest operator that owns 30 SNFs in four states.
