Eugenia Pierson

Eugenia Pierson become the chairwoman of the Health Care Policy practice at Squire Patton Boggs last month. She represents a range of healthcare clients, including hospitals, physicians, post-acute care providers, manufactures and coalitions. 

Pierson has worked on major health legislation including the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010, the Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2009, the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008, Deficit Reduction Act of 2005, the Medicare Prescription Drug Improvement and Modernization Act of 2003. She has worked as a legislative policy clerk for the Health Subcommittee of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

Pierson was named one of National Law Journal’s “25 Most Influential Women in Washington Under 35″ in 2013. 

She completed her bachelor’s degree at Rhodes College.
