PennTech to showcase new vial washer

PennTech has created a new aseptic machine that can keep vials safe for compounding pharmacists.

The company will unveil its product, RW-250, at the 2014 INTERPHEX show, March 18-20, in New York City.

Traditional vial washers include many moving parts, such as chains, rods, gears and belts, the company noted. The new washer is 45” by 50” and designed with minimal moving parts, and can handle a vial range of 1 ml to 135 ml.

“Those that wish to ensure their vials are properly cleaned, and move away from the old bad habits, will quickly realize what so many biotech and pharmaceutical companies already have,” said Kain Johnson, PennTech spokesman.
