Sodexo’s Nori Yamashita has been selected as the Covenant Village of Colorado’s Director of Dining Services. Covenant Village is a faith-based, not-for-profit, continuing care retirement community administered by Covenant Retirement Communities, and Sodexo is its food services and management provider. 

Yamashita has worked in dining and food service management for around 40 years. He will oversee overall food service operations, guest relations, special events, budget and hiring and training of dining staff.

    A native of northern Japan, he completed his bachelor’s degree in finance at the University of South Florida. During school, he worked as a student manager for the dining services department on campus, which was managed by Sodexo. Upon graduating, Yamashita was offered a management position with the company, and since then has held various positions with the company, including manager at Western Washington University and operations director at the University of Denver.
