The Vision Centre in December named 30 long-term care and aging services experts to its inaugural Advisory Council. The members will provide specialized expertise and support the mission to build and strengthen relationships between universities and aging services providers.

“This diverse group of individuals brings skills in workforce development, fundraising, college relations, senior housing and services, strategic planning and much more,” said Douglas Olson, President and CEO of Vision Centre. “The Council will provide valuable perspectives from those at the forefront of this work. Together, I’m confident that we can positively influence the future of senior living leadership across the country.” 

Each member will serve a two-year term. The inaugural members are:

The council will work with the Board of Trustees by providing feedback on strategic goals, identifying potential connections, serving as ambassadors, and facilitating and participating in fund development needs.

The Vision Centre: Leadership Development for Aging Services is committed to creating 25 university and college programs and 1,000 paid internships with senior housing, care and service providers, associations and industry partners.
