William Tian

William Tian has been named associate executive director at Oak Crest, a continuing care retirement community developed and managed by Erickson Living.

Tian has a professional background in operations, healthcare and dining. Previously, he was division vice president of dining and allied clinical services for Genesis Healthcare. His region encompassed 245 properties located in 19 states.

In his new role, Tian will support day-to-day operations at the 87-acre campus, which is home to more than 2,100 residents in independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing neighborhoods. He also will work with Erickson Living on several projects, including long-term planning.

Tian earned his undergraduate degree in biology from the College of William & Mary in Virginia and has certifications in culinary arts, food and hospitality management and adult education techniques from the Culinary Institute of America. He also has received several professional certifications through his affiliation with the American Culinary Federation.
