Raymond Thompson has joined the management team as executive director of Swenson Healthcare in Tacoma, WA.
Thompson was previously at Life Care Center of Port Orchard and Cottesmore of Life Care, both in Washington, as senior executive director.
He also worked as Life Care’s Division Vice President for the Northwest Division, where he was responsible for the overall operation of 29 facilities caring for over 2,300 skilled nursing and rehabilitation patients daily, the company said. While at Life Care, he received both the President’s Award and Facility of the Year Award.
Thompson began his career as a nurse in the U.S. Army.
Thompson completed his bachelor’s degree at Texas State University. He completed his graduate certification in Long Term Healthcare Administration from Texas State.
