Mandy Taylor, RN, has been promoted to the role of senior vice president of clinical services at Chattanooga, TN-based Morning Pointe Senior Living.

After more than six years as the senior healthcare services company’s regional vice president of operations for the Bluegrass region, based in Lexington (Kentucky/Indiana), Taylor now will join Morning Pointe’s executive leadership team. In her new role, she will work to ensure that the company’s clinical policies and procedures are effective and uniform while helping to develop clinical strategies that benefit residents and associates and creating innovative clinical products and services.

Taylor also will work to strengthen Morning Pointe’s medical partnerships with area hospitals and universities across the Southeast. Her team consists of more than 250 certified nursing assistants, 200 licensed practical nurses and dozens of registered nurses and medical technicians from 32 Morning Pointe personal care, assisted living, and memory care communities spanning five southeastern states.

Taylor earned her nursing degree from Midway College in Midway, KY. Previous positions include serving as director of professional services for a home health agency, director of nursing in a skilled nursing facility and direct patient caregiver in medical-surgical nursing and mental health settings.
