Rachel L. Polhemus has been promoted from consultant to senior partner at Witt/Kieffer, after working at the firm for nearly 10 years.
Bases in Bethesda, MD, Polhemus started as an associated in 2004 and worked her way up to a consultant position three years later.
“Rachel has built a nucleus of excellent client relationships up and down the East Coast during her nine-year tenure at the firm,” Charles (Chuck) Wardell III, Witt/Kieffer president and CEO, said in a press release. “We are thrilled to recognize her dedication and commitment to Witt/Kieffer by naming her the company’s newest senior partner.”
Polhemus specializes in senior management searches and identifies candidates for healthcare leadership roles. She also helps hospital and health system clients to prepare job specifications, sourcing and setting goals to find the best job candidate.
Before working at Witt/Kieffer, Polhemus worked at Accenture, a management consulting firm.
She received her undergraduate degree in business management with an emphasis on health administration at Ithaca College. Polhemus also holds two master’s degrees. Her Master of Business Administration was received at American University and her Master of Public Health was received at George Washington University.
