Michelle Costa

National Health Care Associates, Inc. has named Michelle Costa, DNP, MS, RN, its new chief clinical officer.

In this role, Costa will oversee all aspects of clinical operations and patient care provided in the organization’s affiliated centers across six states in the northeast and New England.

Costa is a nursing executive with more than 20 years of leadership and management experience improving clinical outcomes through organizational change, and elevating nursing standards across departments and divisions, while using evidence-based theory to successfully ensure achievement of clinical goals.

In addition, she will focus on quality improvement initiatives and outcomes management to align with provider relationships

Costa spent more than 24 years with Genesis HealthCare, more recently as senior clinical officer, according to her LinkedIn profile. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Salve Regina University and her doctorate of nursing practice from Chamberlain University.
