Caleen Norrod Johnson, CFRE, has been hired as the new executive director of the Nathan Adelson Hospice Foundation, an organization that fundraises to provide hospice care to uninsured or underinsured individuals.
She will be responsible for designing and implementing a fundraising strategy that includes events, marketing initiatives, planned givings, annual appeals, stewardship and donor engagement.
Johnson most recently served as director of corporate and foundation relations at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Foundation. She was responsible for the planning, execution and oversight of UNLV’s corporate and foundation fundraising efforts. She also has worked as executive director of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Nevada, was the director of major gifts for the American Cancer Society, and held the position of director of development for The Nature Conservancy.
