Philosophy Care Centers has named Natasha Islam administrator of its Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation and Pediatrics in Haskell, NJ.
Islam most recently led Cypress Garden Center for Nursing and Rehabiltation in New York, from 2016 to 2019. Previously, she was administrator at Little Neck Care Center, also in New York, for a year. She started her career as an assistant administrator and compliance officer at Flushing Manor Care, according to a LinkedIn profile.
In announcing her appointment, Philosophy cited the enhancements and new programs Islam started at previous locations.
Islam’s career was inspired by her family’s own appreciation for hiqh-quality care. Her brother suffered a catastrophic car accident when he was 5 and needed years of intensive nursing care.
“I am confident that my years of experience will help me raise the level of care for all residents and result in a nursing center that will become the model for others to emulate,” Islam said.
