Methodist Retirement Communities has tapped Alan Brown to be president and CEO.

Brown was formerly chief operations officer for Methodist Senior Services in Tupelo, MS.  

Over 253 prospective candidates were sourced and 15 interviews held by executive search and recruiting firm CliftonLarsonAllen assisted Methodist Retirement Communities in filling the role, recruiting 253 candidates and 15 interviewees.

Brown has over 27 years of experience in the non-profit sector. He led teams at Methodist Senior Services to open and operate the world’s first Green House home in 2003, adding an additional 18 Green House homes throughout his tenure with the 20th GreenHouse scheduled to open in 2020.

Prior to his 18 years at Methodist Senior, he held leadership positions at Arizona Baptist Retirement Centers and was a licensed administrator for Baptist Memorials Center in San Angelo. He is a graduate of Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
