James R. McKnight Jr. is the new CEO at Diversicare, following the retirement of Kelly J. Gill, 62.
McKnight joined the TN-based provider in 2012 as the chief financial officer.
Before that, he was the chief financial officer at NuScriptRX, where he was promoted to CFO in 2010. McKnight was the vice president and corporate controller at Take Care Health Systems for four years.
He also has worked at Ernst & Young, Arthur Andersen and American HomePatient.
McKnight completed his bachelor’s degree at Louisiana Tech University and is a certified public accountant.
