Lori Whitney has been appointed vice president of Life Care Centers of America’s Mountain States Division.

Whitney oversees 37 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Colorado, Hawaii, Texas and Wyoming.

Since 2015, Whitney had been Life Care’s rehab director for the same division since 2015. Prior to that, she spent 13 years serving in various post-acute health care leadership roles. Earlier in her career, she had worked as a physical therapist at a Life Care facility.

Whitney earned a bachelor of science degree in physical therapy from the University of the Philippines, and she holds a master’s in business administration from the University of Denver.

Tennessee-based Life Care manages more than 200 nursing, post-acute and Alzheimer’s centers in 28 states.
