Shelley Kendrick will become the next president and CEO at Ecumen, the company announced last week. She is currently Ecumen’s Senior vice president of operations and COO and will succeed Kathryn Roberts as president and CEO, who has been in the role since 2003. Roberts will continue to be CEO Emeritus, working part-time.

Kendrick joined Ecumen in 2012, having previously led the Minneapolis Veterans

Home. A licensed nursing home administrators, she has run nursing homes in Ohio and Minnesota.

She is a member of the board for LeadingAge Minnesota and served on the University of Minnesota’s Health Services Management Advisory Board.

Kendrick completed her bachelor’s at Eastern Michigan University and her MBA at the University of Notre Dame.
