Jones named resident care manager at Waltonwood Lake Boone

Ellen Jones, RN, has been named the resident care manager at Waltonwood Lake Boone in Raleigh, NC.

Part of her duties will include training CNAs and medical techs, as well as helping residents on medication management and traveling to physicians. She will primarily work with memory care and assisted living residents.

Jones worked at Sunrise Senior Living for three years, and at Brookdale for four years. She has also worked at Elmcroft Senior Living, PruittHealth and Liberty Healthcare.

She completed her bachelor’s degree at Rutgers University.

Waltonwood is expected to open this year with 121 independent living, 38 assisted living and 23 memory care apartments.
