Netsmart has appointed Dennis Jakubowicz to the role of vice president and general manager of its senior living business unit. Netsmart is a leading health information technology partner for behavioral health, home care, post-acute and social services organizations.
As vice president, Jakubowicz will be responsible for cultivating meaningful client relationships and empowering providers to experience what the company calls the advantages of the industry’s only unified electronic health record platform that crosses all post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, home care, hospice, continuing care retirement communities and life plan communities.
Jakubowicz has 30 years of healthcare experience and a substantial background in senior living and the pharmacy industry. He previously served more than six years as senior vice president at MatrixCare. Jakubowicz’s prior roles include leading sales and business development initiatives for various pharmaceutical and pharmacy technology organizations.
Jakubowicz holds a bachelor’s degree from Lycoming College.
