Bob Gilligan

Bob Gilligan has been named the new CEO of Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare.

He replaces Harvey P. Diamond, who will become the vice chairman of the Drive board and act as a senior advisor.

Gilligan was previously the CEO of GE Industrial Solutions. He started at GE in 1990 in its healthcare division, then joined GE’s Industrial Systems business in 1996. In 2004, he became the general manager of the Transmission and Distribution (T&D) business and was promoted to CEO of GE Digital Energy in 2008.

Gilligan’s volunteer activities include Habitat for Humanity and acting as an advisor to the National Electrical Manufacturers Association, as well as an advisor to MIT Energy Initiative “Future of the Grid” Study.

He completed his bachelor’s degree at Bucknell University and his MBA at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.
