Shelli Giardino has been named the Director of Human Resources at Devonshire at PGA National, a community managed by Erickson Living.
Giardino has nearly twenty years of human resources experience in the senior living or healthcare industries.At Devonshire, she will be “responsible for building upon the strength of the community’s employee environment by recruiting, developing, and retaining team members whose mission is providing superior service to the residents of Devonshire, as well as Chatsworth at PGA National, the Continuing Care neighborhood associated with Devonshire,” the company said.
She has worked for Erickson Living since September 2003, first as a senior human resources manager at Charlestown in Catonsville, MD. In 2007, she relocated to Overland Park, KS, to assist with the opening of Tallgrass Creek.
In 2009, Giardino moved back to Maryland and worked at Riderwood in Silver Spring, MD. She was promoted to the Director of Human Resources at Riderwood in October 2010 and continued in that position until her most recent move to Palm Beach Gardens, FL, to assume the position of Devonshire’s Director of Human Resources.
Before Erickson, Giardino worked as a human resources generalist at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore and Northwest Hospital in Randallstown, MD.
She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
