Steven E. Fuller, CEO of Army Residence Community

There’s a new chief executive at the top of the Army Residence Community in San Antonio.

The military retirement facility, which is a continuing care retirement/life plan community, has hired Steven E. Fuller as its next CEO. He will assume that position on May 15 and become the fourth leader of ARC in its 31-year history.

Fuller has more than 20 years of experience in long-term care, spending the last 17 as CEO of a similar community, the Village at Incarnate Word, also in San Antonio. A licensed nursing facility administrator since 1996, Fuller has degrees in business administration and aging studies, and is a member of LeadingAge Texas.

“I am very excited and honored to join the Army Residence Community family,” Fuller said in a news announcement. “I look forward to serving retired military officers, their spouses, widows and widowers, alongside a very committed, top-notch board of directors and team of coworkers. Together, we will build upon the rich traditions of the ARC and lead the organization into a bright and successful future.”
