The nomination period for the McKnight’s 2021 Women of Distinction Awards program has entered a prime stage for submitters to prepare entries.
Just under three weeks remain until the published entry deadline of Wednesday, Jan. 6. But interested individuals must remember that the busy holiday season will hit its peak during that run-up time.
Nominations are being sought in three categories: Rising Stars, Veteran VIPs and the Hall of Honor. Each year the McKnight’s Women of Distinction program recognizes some of the top women leaders in long-term and senior care. Winners, who must be providers or closely affiliated with their cause, are carefully selected by a national independent panel of key stakeholders.
2021 honorees will join a distinguished club of past winners, which includes some of the professions top CEOs, as well as some of its brightest up-and-comers, from companies large and small. With the addition of the Veteran VIP category this year, there is a new outstanding forum to showcase longtime top performers in the field.
Anyone can put forth a nomination. Just complete the basic entry requirements found here. Submitters are encouraged to be as specific and expansive as possible when describing a nominee’s attributes.
Don’t let the submission deadline sneak up and pass you by since it falls quickly after New Year’s Day. Make plans to honor a special colleague or colleagues today.
