Plans are in full swing for the NASL Winter Legislative and Regulatory Conference, which will be held Feb. 24-26 in Washington. The National Association for the Support of Long-Term Care will host the event at the InterContinental Hotel – The Wharf.

Mariann Yeager

The NASL winter conference focuses on healthcare policy and regulation and offers educational and networking sessions, as well as opportunities to meet face-to-face with members of Congress, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services leaders and other industry experts.

Mariann Yeager, the CEO of the Sequoia Project, a nonprofit public-private collaborative focused on advancing nationwide interoperability, will be the keynote speaker.

In 2019, the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) announced that The Sequoia Project would serve as the Recognized Coordinating Entity (RCE), which will coordinate with ONC in implementing the nation’s Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA).
