Long-term care providers are continual problem-solvers. The 2022 McKnight’s Tech Awards + Summit program is out to honor those who are willing to tell about some of their successes.
This annual showcase is a free opportunity for providers to demonstrate leadership and outside-the-box thinking when it comes to today’s tech. Solutions, however, don’t have to be complicated or costly.
Winners will be recognized for technology uses that improve efficiency, demonstrate innovative thinking or have harnessed new tools to benefit residents and staff. Over the 10-year history of the program, winners have included major chain-owned communities, as well as stand-alone operators.
There is no cost to enter and winners will be honored during both online and in-person ceremonies this fall. McKnight’s will report on all events both online and in print. Details on a variety of past tech awards winners can be viewed by scrolling through the coverage.
Providers have about two weeks — until June 30 — to enter. There are four categories across separate skilled nursing, senior living and home care divisions.
Entries can be made in the Quality, Innovator of the Year, KISS (Keep It Super Simple) and Building Bridges categories. Multiple entries are allowed. See full descriptions of each and get more details at www.mcknightstechawards.com.
Also see the McKnight’s Tech Awards entry site for more details on categories and rules. Vendors are not eligible to enter directly.
Winners will be selected by an independent judging panel in late summer, with winners announced at the virtual McKnight’s Tech Awards + Summit on Oct. 4. The Summit will feature educational panels; a full agenda will be announced at a later date.
