The Pioneer Network will hold its annual New Culture of Aging conference August 4-7 at the Galt House in Louisville, KY. The theme is “Making it Happen.”

Attendees will be presented with four days of networking and educational sessions, which will span cultural issues, resident-centered care, staff development topics, Alzheimer’s care and more. The opening keynote presentation Monday morning, “Feelings Matter Most: Nurturing Resilience Creates a Person-Centered Organization,” will be delivered by David Sheard, the founder of Dementia Care Matters.

The event is partnering with the nearby Thrive Center to highlight state-of-the-art technology for aging services providers and participants.
