The National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC) will kick off its largest annual conference Monday when it brings operators, lenders and investors together in Houston. The gathering will be the group’s first in-person since its 2020 spring conference concluded barely a week before pandemic conditions were declared, shutting down virtually all travel and public gatherings.

This year’s event features top speakers such as economist and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman and former U.S Treasury Secretary Lawrence H. Summers. Networking and educational sessions will take place through mid-Wednesday.

All events will take place at the Marriott Marquis Houston. Those who cannot attend in-person also have an online option for 2021.

For more information, including a full list of session topics ranging from market recovery to property valuation, see fallconference.nic.org.
