The third annual McKnight’s Senior Living Online Expo is now less than a week away. The educational event and exhibition hall takes place Thursday, offering up to three free continuing education credits.

In addition to presentations by national thought leaders, attendees also will have the opportunity to visit a virtual exhibition hall featuring products and services from top companies serving the senior living profession. There also will be networking opportunities.

Behavioral health, technology and workforce issues are the themes of the educational tracks:

  • 11 a.m. ET: Eleanor Feldman Barbera, Ph.D., a licensed psychologist actively consulting in senior care communities, will speak about “Behavioral health in senior living: Improving practices, reducing risk.”
  • 1 p.m. ET: Kimberly Gordy, an associate at the law firm BakerHostetler and a trained clinical ethicist, will present “Mobile tech: Friend or foe in the senior living workplace?”
  • 2:30 p.m. ET: Matt Bromen, human resources director at Seattle-based Era Living, will discuss “The talent war: 3 strategies for winning In today’s competitive market.”

Doors to the online environment will open at 10:30 a.m., at which time attendees can start visiting booths. “Doors” to the webinars will open shortly before each session.
