The new McKnight’s Pinnacle Awards program is now accepting nominations to honor industry professionals who have had a long-time impact on the sector.

The program honors top leaders and performers in skilled nursing, senior living and home care who have showed remarkable staying power over a career of 20 years or longer.

The 2022 McKnight’s Pinnacle Awards opened nominations this week. The regular deadline for entries is Oct. 20; a late-filer deadline is Oct. 27.

Awards will be given in both for-profit and nonprofit tracks for skilled nursing (as well as in separate tracks for senior living and home care).

The five main categories, which will recognize multiple winners in each, are:

•  Setting the Standard Award

•  Agent of Change Award

•  Inspiration Award

•  Thought Leader Award

•  Unsung Hero Award

There also will be multiple awards given in Industry Ally and Business Partner categories for those who do not typically work within long-term care communities themselves. This program raises up providers, as well as those who help them better perform their job.

Finalists will be announced Dec. 1 and a grand in-person reception and awards ceremony will take place in early March.

More details about the program and the submission form are via the event’s entry kit. The event website also holds more details at www.mcknightspinnacleawards.com.
