The Gerontological Society of America is holding its Annual Scientific Meeting Nov. 14-18 at the Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center in Boston.

Hailed as the oldest and largest interdisciplinary scientific organization devoted to the advancement of gerontological research, its meeting theme this year is “The Purposes of Longer Lives.” More than 4,000 attendees are expected to take part in a wide array of lectures, education sessions and keynote presentations.
