The PALTC23 annual conference long-term care medical directors is set for March 9-12 in Tampa. The event actually kick offs for the evening of March 8, when AMDA – The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine holds a welcome reception

What ensues is three and a half days of educational sessions, keynote presentations and networking opportunities. Care transitions, infection control, medication management and leadership skills are just a few of the hot topics that will be delved into. There also will be an exhibition hall.

Organizers also have announced a special offer for medical directors who cannot attend the conference in person. The general sessions and 60- and 90-minute concurrent education sessions will be recorded and available for three years, beginning May 1, 2023. These conference recordings carry CME/CMD/MOC credits.

Organizers emphasize that it is not a virtual conference and the recordings will not replicate all the benefits of being at the Tampa gathering in person. The off-site option provides access only to asynchronous conference recordings.
