The deadline to submit entries for McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards program is next Friday. Organizers expect a wide range of new or revised programs to be honored in this year’s competition. The competition features two tracks — one for skilled nursing and one for senior living — with six categories each. They include: Quality, High-Tech/High-Touch, Innovator of the Year, Keep It Super Simple, Safety, and Transitions. Entries should focus on the programs of provider organizations.
Put simply, there is a category for virtually anything that takes place to improve resident care or long-term care operations. Scores of operators, big and small, have been honored in McKnight’s print and online coverage since the awards program was founded.
