Now that the calendar has turned to August, providers better be making sure they’re ready for a change this month in hazardous waste handling, experts warn.
The new rule was promulgated by the Environmental Protection Agency and will become effective August 21.
A “quick” six-month turnaround is all providers have had to prepare, Arnall Golden Gregory authors wrote in a legal brief. Previous McKnight’s coverage also frames the issues at hand.
“It’s a whole new regulatory framework that [providers are] going to have to get used to,” AGG’s Jennifer Hilliard told McKnight’s.
