Skilled nursing’s downstream partners in assisted living will be gathering en masse Sunday through Wednesday at the Argentum annual meeting in San Antonio.

Top issues concerning policy, housing, transitions of care, staffing, marketing and other key subjects will be featured in educational and keynote sessions.

Featured speakers include Ann Compton, the first woman assigned to cover the White House on network television, and Michael Leavitt, the former Secretary of Health and Human Services and Governor of Utah and current consultant.

Sarah Thomas, the NFL’s first female official, will be the highlighted speaker for the association’s new thrust into women leadership issues.

The exhibition hall will be open Tuesday and Wednesday at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
