Unlike the 2019 McKnight’s Women of Distinction awards ceremony, where everyone had to attend in person to learn more about and celebrate top women leaders in long-term care, Tuesday’s broadcast of the 2020 winners’ ceremony will allow all to join in the fun and revelry via computer.

The event kicks off at 7 p.m. ET and requires only free registration to see the carefully choreographed live video clips for each of the 22 Hall of Honor inductees, 22 Rising Stars honorees and the Lifetime Achievement Award winner, Wendy Simpson. In addition, there will be drop-in visits from some of the top aging services leaders from associations and Congress. Registration is available here.

Then there’s also Wednesday morning’s Women of Distinction Forum webinars at 9:30 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 12 noon (all ET). The three sessions will each offer free CE credits and Q&A opportunities with the speakers, who will deliver professional insights for all long-term care professionals, regardless of title, gender or tenure in the field. The registration link is the same as for the awards ceremony.

As organizers point out: There’s nothing to lose — there is no cost to attendees — and everything to gain for attendees at these unique offerings from McKnight’s Long-Term Care News and McKnight’s Senior Living.

The McKnight’s Women of Distinction program is jointly administered by McKnight’s Senior Living and McKnight’s Long-Term Care News. The program’s Diamond sponsor is PointClickCare. Silver sponsors are OnShift and PharMerica, and the Signature sponsors are Acadia Pharmaceuticals and Enquire.
