The nation’s largest nursing home association has developed a full, modified annual conference schedule in response to having to move the event online due to the pandemic. Sessions will be available for viewing Oct. 8-31, with three days of special live-streaming sessions spaced in, according to the American Health Care Association / National Center for Assisted Living.

“This year’s convention offers you 24 days of on-demand content. And you can connect in real time with Get-Together Thursdays — three days of live-stream sessions on October 8, 15, and 22,” organizers explained in their unveiling announcement. Highlighting the live-stream days will be general sessions at 3:30 p.m. ET each day.

It’s 71st annual conference was originally supposed to take place during a typical Sunday-through-Wednesday span in Austin, TX, before COVID-19 conditions took hold.

As has been typical, the convention will continue to offer educational sessions with CE credits, keynote speakers, networking opportunities and awards presentations. In addition, there will still be an online exhibition hall.
